Dear Michelle, Is it true you have real data entry jobs from home?

ANSWER:

 

Yes, it's true. You see... as the editor of this website for nearly 15 years I can tell you there is one thing I do not tolerate and that is scams. Yucky, stinky, awful ole scams have no place here at SOHOjobs. So, we don't list them. It's that simple.

Now, you should know - this takes some effort on our parts. The scammers are pretty tricky so they are always trying to sneak their way in. But we pretty much always stop them. We do this by checking every job that is posted here. I apply to the job just like you would and then wait and see what happens. If I get an email box filled with junk or a request for money or some other such thing, I don't allow the job to be posted. Yea... some of those other work at home websites who claim to have thousands of work at home jobs... well, most of them are scams.

We have fewer jobs - but they are real. You can count on it.

Now, back to your question about data entry jobs. Yes, we have real data entry jobs. And typing. And clerical office. And administration. And customer service. And reservations. And every other sort of job. We don't have "thousands", but we do have a variety, and the list changes daily.

These jobs fill quickly and are highly competitive. Not everyone can get one. But, you can certainly try. And keep trying as i continue to find you new listings.

HA HA! Now THAT is a great question!

 

And I know what you mean. The onset of the Internet age sure did make real people disappear, didn't it? Heck, sometimes I talk more to my husband via text message than I do face to face. After awhile I even start to wonder if HE is real!

 

This is all the more evident with work at home websites and career services. Mostly you get just that - a website - and nothing more. Sometimes that is enough, but other times it sure would be nice to have a little human interaction. (This is exactly what I tell my husband, by the way!)

 

So, anyway - to answer your question - yes, I am a real person. I've been SOHO'ing with SOHOjobs for years now. So long, in fact, that I had no wrinkles or grey hairs when I started. And if my wrinkles and grey hair does not prove that I am a real person than I don't know what can.

 

I invite, encourage and even adore contact from our SOHO'ers (that means you!) So, drop me a message when you have a question or want to connect. I've gotta tell ya - I am pretty excited about the new SOHOjobs.com

 

Our new website has been up and running for about a year now and has been tremendously successful with our members, employers and even the media. The concept has created a lot of attention because we are the only social network for job seekers, business owners, recruiters and hiring managers who are interested in working from home or finding home based employees. 

 

Basically, you can think of SOHOjobs as a sort of Facebook for virtual work opportunities. You can friend request other members including Team SOHO staff (friend me here), search and apply for work at home jobs, communicate with employers, create and share your blog (great for you home based business owners out there), share events, classifieds and so much more. To put it simply - it's the most fun you can have while finding work from your home.

 

One of my favorite parts about the new SOHOjobs is my ability to interact with our members. Back in the day I was stuck with email, which most of you never seemed to get thanks to those pesky spam filters. But now we can talk to each other directly on our SOHO walls or SOHO inbox.
